What is aerial colour smoke?
Aerial colour smoke is a spectacular visual effect that launches columns of coloured smoke 15–30 metres into the air, depending on wind conditions. We use Italian-made single-use cannons activated remotely by our technician. Choose from around 12 colours and combine them freely. Minimum 6 units recommended for maximum impact. Outdoor use only. No residue on clothing, trees or surroundings.

FAQ
1 Is colour smoke safe?
Yes. Our technician always takes care of preparing and activating the effect, and we only carry it out when the conditions are right.
When a shot goes off, small pigment particles can fall around the cannon. That is why we protect the ground with a special covering within roughly a 1-metre radius around each firing point.

2 Is colour smoke considered pyrotechnics?
Yes. They are category T1 stage pyrotechnic articles (EU Directive 2013/29/EU), not conventional fireworks. We use CE-marked cannons (Air Smoke SM30, Pirotecnica Manna, Italy). Because they are pyrotechnic, some locations may have restrictions, so we check every case.
3 Can it be used at any venue or wedding space?
Not always. It depends on the exact location, how close it is to woodland, the venue's own rules, the date and any restrictions in force. You don't have to figure this out yourself: you give us the location and date and we check it before confirming.
4 Is any permit or authorization needed?
Depending on the location, sometimes yes and sometimes no: it depends on the site and local regulations. We check the exact venue and location and tell you whether any authorization is needed. If it is, it's best to know in advance so it can be arranged in time.
5 Do the date and fire risk matter?
Yes. During periods of higher fire risk, stricter restrictions may apply, and on the day of the event temporary safety limitations can come up. That is why we confirm feasibility based on the date and location before the event.
6 How many shots can we do and can I choose the colours?
It depends on the moment and the effect you want to create. Each shot costs 50 € and you can combine different colours. In the configurator you can choose the number of shots and the colours and see the exact price.
7 Can it be used indoors?
No. Colour smoke is designed exclusively for outdoor spaces.
8 What happens if the effect ultimately can't be done?
If the effect cannot go ahead because of venue rules, safety restrictions or limitations in force, we let you know as early as possible and suggest an available alternative for that moment of your event.
