Some weddings begin with a little adventure. Azahara and Eadmond's did too — for us as well.
We spent a good while winding between mountains and country estates, getting lost on roads that didn't seem to lead anywhere. After yet another U-turn, L'Alquería Nova finally appeared. Jessica, the planner, met us and walked us through the night's plan: the photobooth would come in during the party.
A corner with no signal (and special because of it)
We set everything up pretty fast. The estate had almost no signal or internet and, far from being a nuisance, it gave the night a touch of intimacy: what happened there, stayed there.
Cinematic props: the "mafia" theme
Azahara had chosen the mafia props and, mid-event, we understood why. A good part of the guests came from England, so the toy revolvers and Peaky Blinders-style flat caps were familiar ground for them. It worked a treat.
By 00:30 the large album was already full. We rarely see guests so up for it.— The House Party team
A full album before midnight
We started at 23:30, a little behind schedule, and wrapped at 2:00. The large black album filled up when it was barely midnight: the guests kept coming back to the photobooth all night long.
