Some bookings are sorted out in just three WhatsApp messages. Sylvain and Rhi's was one of them: they contacted us, we sent them the link and they configured their own photo booth order for the wedding at Villa Golf Sitges.
Sylvain chose the props, the photo design and the gold backdrop himself, leaving everything ready with hardly any intervention from us. All we had to do was turn up and live up to expectations.
A venue at the end of a road through the hills
Getting there was another story. The venue is on the outskirts of Sitges, and the road took us through hills and Mediterranean scrub before the entrance suddenly appeared in front of us.
We rang the bell, one of the guests came out to open the gate and we parked at the back of the property. We still had an hour before the service started, which gave us plenty of time to walk around and choose the best spot in the rear courtyard for our photo booth for weddings in Barcelona.
From shyness to a nearly full guest book
It was an international wedding, with guests arriving from France and England. At first everyone was a little shy and nobody wanted to be the first to step in front of the camera.
But as soon as Sylvain and Rhi led the way, everything changed. Guests started taking photos in couples and groups, trying on the glasses and the Spanish-style hats we had added as a small gift.
The couple just needed to break the ice. From then on, the photo booth barely stopped and the guest book ended up almost completely full.
A keyring to take the night home
Guests could also leave with a physical memory of the night. We printed 5×15 photo strips and larger 10×15 prints, and we prepared something extra as well: keyrings with the couple's photo, assembled on the spot during the event.
A small, physical keepsake — something a phone cannot quite replace — so a little piece of Sylvain and Rhi's wedding could stay with their guests long after the final photo.
